Ticket T&Cs

The purchase of this ticket (“the Ticket”) by you (“you or “Your”) from the authorised ticket agent, (“the Ticket Agent”), entitles You to gain entry to the Dubs South Campout (DSC) (“the Event”) staged by Dubs South Campout (DSC) (“the Promoter”) at the venue advertised (“the Venue”).

The possession of a ticket shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of the terms, conditions and advice detailed below and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them.

Key Information – The following key pieces of information are accepted by all ticket holders:

  • Exposure to loud music may cause damage to hearing

  • Special effects may be used at this event including strobe lighting and lasers

  • You must observe the Prohibited Items lists

  • You must observe the Campout Rules

  • By entering you consent to being filmed and photographed for the purposes of marketing and social media

  1. These conditions should be read alongside all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the premises, or the event Website.

  2. In the event of a breach of this contract by the promoter, the company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of a breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by the supplier at the date of this contract. This includes cancellation due to extreme weather or major incidents.

  3. Upon purchase, please check Tickets carefully, please email info@dubssouthcampout.co.uk should you wish to amend any details. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned Tickets unless otherwise provided under the Refund Policy.

  4. Tickets are not issued prior to the event, DSC has your details, just turn up.

  5. Make sure when you book your tickets you can attend the event. Tickets are for personal use only. 

  6. The Organisers reserves the right to refuse admission to the ticket holder if in the reasonable opinion of the Organisers or their representatives, admission of the holder might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the festival. 

  7. All persons entering the festival site may be searched as a condition of entry. 

  8. Strictly no illegal substances, including “Legal Highs” will be permitted into the site. Possession of either may lead to your ejection from the event and possible prosecution.

  9. Ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband on arrival and this wristband must be worn at all times for the duration of the event.

  10. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena and the only containers permitted shall carry water in a quantity of not more than 1 Litre. 

  11. Private sound systems, illegal substances, “legal highs” glass, fireworks, laser pens or any other items which the organisers deem unsuitable or inappropriate will not be permitted into the event site.

  12. Please respect the site and use the bins provided, persistent litterers may be ejected, please observe our ‘Leave no Trace’ policy.

  13. If you have any disabled access requirements, please email info@dubssouthcampout.co.uk. Access to facilities is subject to availability and not guaranteed. Anyone turning up on the day without making prior arrangements may not be able to access our facilities if they are full to capacity

  14. Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a leash at all times.

  15. Children of 17 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or older.

  16. If you look under 25 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol, please bring a suitable ID (passport or driver’s license). We operate a ‘Challenge 25’ policy.

  17. Strictly no trading is allowed inside the festival site without written permission from the promoter.

  18. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full advertised bill performs, this ticket is for an event and not a specific artist/band.  We reserve the right to change the bill or running times without prior notice.

  19. Please email info@dubssouthcampout.co.uk if you need to change the registration of the vehicle associated with your ticket.

  20. Attendees consent to the photography, filming/sound recording as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional or commercial activities.

  21. Should you wish to resell your ticket, the DSC bares no responsibility for the transfer of your ticket. Please email info@dubssouthcampout.co.uk to inform us of the change in ticket details, we must be informed prior to the event.

  22. No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without written permission from DSC.

  23. Any vehicles not authorised on the site will be removed.

  24. Please note there are restricted capacities at any stage or attraction that is within a tent or similar structure, once they reach the maximum capacities there will be no further admissions. You are not guaranteed admission to these areas.

  25. It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the festival site.

  26. The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the festival site.

  27. Amplified sound and strobe lighting will be used at this event.

  28. The promoters reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of entry into the event in accordance with any new laws, legislation or internal company policies.

You may be asked by security staff to look in your bag. This is to ensure everyone’s safety. Please don’t be offended. We ask for your co-operation in this regard.

  • Please take care of your personal property at the Venue. We are sorry if your personal property is lost or damaged while at the Venue, but neither the DSC nor the Venue can be held responsible. Lost property will be collected during the event, please email info@dubssouthcampout.co.uk if you have lost an item and we can check the lost and found.

  • Any illegal substances, weapons, items that may be construed as a weapon, excessive amounts of tobacco or alcohol, untaxed tobacco or alcohol, or pyrotechnics will be either disposed of or handed to the Police. A full list of banned items, and quotas of personal food and drink, is available in the Terms of Entry.

Ejection policy

  1. Any person attending the event, whether as a paying customer, guest, contractor, subcontractor, or employed staff member, agrees upon entry that their right to be present anywhere on the site may be revoked at any time, for any reason, and at the sole discretion of the Event Manager – who may take advice, in any instance, from the Head Steward, Promoter, or a representative of the Emergency Services. The ejectee recognises that they will be expected to disperse from the site upon ejection. 

  2. Ejection may be utilised by the event manager to deal with unacceptable behaviour that does not breach criminal legislation, including, but not limited to:

  • Persistent intoxication, in particular when combined with disturbing the enjoyment of other site users

  • Persistent littering

  • Threatening abusive language or behaviour

  • Persistent breaching of back-of-house areas without authorisation

  • Persistent breaching of any Terms of Entry or Site Rules

  • Any person attending the event recognises that they hold no right to a monetary refund for tickets purchased.

Drugs and Psychoactive Substances Policy

The promoter holds a strict drugs policy and will take the following measures to enforce this:

  • Any persons deemed to be under the influence of drugs will be refused entry.

  • Anyone found possessing illegal drugs will have their substances confiscated and the individual ejected from the event and reported to the police if deemed appropriate by the security team.

  • Anyone suspected of dealing illegal drugs will be immediately reported to the police.

Smoking Policy

  • For the protection of health and prevention of fire, smoking will not be permitted inside temporary structures or in the vicinity of any straw bale seating or decorative structures. This is in accordance with UK Legislation. Our Security team will be stationed in each temporary structure to monitor this. You will be given one opportunity to extinguish your cigarette, after which repeat offenders will be ejected from the event with no refund.

Cancellation, postponement or Material Alteration of the Event

  • Upon purchase, please check Tickets carefully as errors cannot always be rectified following purchase. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned Tickets unless otherwise provided under the Terms and Conditions.

  • In the event of a cancellation, postponement or Material Alteration of the Event (defined below) You will be entitled to a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions or refund policy of the authorised Ticket Agent from whom You purchased a Ticket. 

  • Where the cancellation takes place part-way through an Event, at the discretion of the Promoter, You may only be entitled to a refund of part of the face price which You paid for the Ticket. 

  • Personal arrangements including travel, subsistence and accommodation in relation to the Event which have been arranged by You are made at Your own risk and neither the authorised Ticket Agent nor the Promoter will have any liability for any such loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. 

  • A “Material Alteration” is a change which in our reasonable opinion makes the Event materially different to the Event which purchasers of the Ticket could reasonably expect. Changes to performance times, acts and performers/participants shall not be considered a Material Alteration and the Promoter will not be liable for such changes. A Material Alteration is judged by reference to the nature, form and billing of the Event. 

  • The Event is judged and valued by reference to the overall theme rather than any individual act, performer or participant scheduled to appear. No scheduled acts may be considered as headline acts, regardless of their relative fame or prominence in the billing. Hence cancellation by an artist will not entitle You to a refund, regardless of their position on the bill.

  • This is at least in part an outdoor event and, as with all music events, performance is subject to the prevailing weather conditions. In the event that it is deemed unsafe for any scheduled events or activities to take place the Promoter may reschedule the Event or cancel it in its entirety. As per the “cancellation” clause above, if the Event is cancelled entirely, DSC does not offer refunds.

  • It is Your responsibility to check that the Event has not been cancelled, rescheduled or made the subject of a Material Alteration. Information on such matters will be made available on behalf of the Promoter as soon as reasonably practicable on the Event website and/or at the Venue. Customers are advised that the website cannot always be updated immediately and that circumstances giving rise to cancellation, postponement or Material Alterations can sometimes arise at late notice or immediately prior to an Event.

  • Tickets will not be refunded where they have been already used to gain entry to the Event, or where You are able to and choose to attend a postponed Event.

Force Majeure

  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond the Promoter’s control including, without limitation, an act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism (or the threat thereof), fire, explosion, flood, royal mourning, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements and/or acts or regulations of national or local governments. The Promoter will not be liable to You for failure to perform any obligation under these terms and conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure.

  • You agree that the Promoter shall not be liable to You for any indirect or consequential costs, claims, actual or alleged losses howsoever arising out of or in connection with the Event and/or our obligations hereunder including, but not limited to, loss of profits, anticipated profits, savings, business or opportunity, or loss of publicity or loss of reputation, or opportunity to enhance reputation or loss of contract or other economic or consequential loss arising from the performance (or any failure to perform) these Terms and Conditions.

Media, Image and Data Rights

  • By attending the Event, You give Your express consent to Your actual being included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audiovisual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world, the copyright to which shall be owned by DSC or its contractors without payment or compensation. If You attend an Event with Your child aged under 18 years You give the foregoing Your express consent on their behalf. This includes filming by the police or security staff that may be carried out for the security of customers.

  • To the extent permitted by law, personal information provided by You to the Promoter will be used for all purposes reasonably connected with the operations of the Event and the Promoter including (but not limited to): providing You with details of forthcoming connected events, offers and services; providing You with updates as to the latest concessions or any changes thereto and information concerning competitions and other promotional activity; supplying You with the goods that You request or in which the Promoter reasonably believes You may be interested; conducting market research and establishing customer profiles; and transferring or disclosing the information provided to the Promoter’s professional advisors and such other parties as it considers necessary in the administration of its business. The Promoter will not use or disclose Your personal information other than as set out in these terms and conditions without Your prior consent. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from such marketing communications when You place Your order and You can unsubscribe from any email communications You receive from the Promoter by following the unsubscribe link.

General Law

  • If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed or amended in such a manner as to render the rest of the provision(s) and remainder of the Terms and Conditions valid or enforceable.

  • If the Promoter delays or fails to enforce any of the Terms and Conditions it shall not mean that the Promoter has waived its right to do so.

  • Nothing in the Terms and Conditions and no action taken by You or the Promoter under the Terms and Conditions shall create, or be deemed to create, a partnership, joint venture or establish a relationship of principal and agent or any other fiduciary relationship between You and the Promoter.

  • The Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in connection with the subject matter of the Terms and Conditions and supersede any previous terms and conditions, agreement or arrangement between You and the Promoter relating to the subject matter of these terms and conditions.

  • Nothing in the Terms and Conditions shall purport to exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
